The latest issue of the “Journal of Medicine and Life”: Volume 9, Issue 2, April-June 2016
We are living in a world of empowered healthcare customers/ patients (true “Kings” in an Omni channel world, thanks to mobile, social media and the web which have changed their behaviors) demanding for a better experience, what presupposes innovation and re-innovation in the ways healthcare is delivered and managed (healthcare providers are already using, for example, digital for organizational transformation), within the increasing importance of the smart patient’s point of view, while quality of life is managed within medicine and even going beyond. There is no doubt within the above mentioned challenging context that every transformation (including the digital one) implies starting from patient, by prioritizing his journey (different touchpoints that characterize his interaction with the healthcare service) from initial contact with the healthcare provider, through the process of engagement, highlighting moments of truth, identifying painful points in the patient experience, constantly evaluating the correspondence between the healthcare brand promise and patient expectations, managing the patient steps before, during and after each patient interaction (and the transitions across each interaction and each touchpoint) with the healthcare brand, in order to ensure the desired long-term relationship between the healthcare provider and its patient.
We are honored to announce the publication of the latest issue of the “Journal of Medicine and Life”: Volume 9, Issue 2, April-June 2016 (Editor-in Chief: Dafin F. We are pleased to share some good news on “Devotion for newborn children” (the title of the editorial written by the Executive Editor, Victor Lorin Purcărea, “Carol Davila” University of Medicine and Pharmacy, Bucharest, Romania).
Among the most important medicine treaties presented (at “Carol Davila” University Press stand ) on the occasion of a significant recent event – “ROMMEDICA- Medical Instruments and Equipment International Fair” (which took place between the 14th and the 16th April, 2016, at Romexpo Exhibition Center, Bucharest) – was the Treatise of “Neonatal surgery, diagnosis, and treatment ”, realized under the editorial coordination of Prof. Radu Bălănescu, MD, PhD and Assoc. Prof. Laura Bălănescu MD, PhD. This valuable Treatise is structured in 5 parts and 43 chapters which present very important subjects.
