Business & Science Forum for Global Mental Health and the Brain Economy

Eliot SOREL MD, Senior Scholar in Healthcare Innovation & Policy Research, Clinical Professor of Global Health, Health Policy & Management, and of Psychiatry & Behavioral Sciences, co-chaired the Business & Science Forum for Global Mental Health and the Brain Economy held at the Canadian Embassy in Washington, DC on Thursday October 6th, 2016.
The Forum included high level leadership participation of the Canadian Deputy Minister on International Development, the new National Institute of Mental Health (NIMH) Director, his Deputy, and the NIMH Director of Global Mental Health, the Director of SAMHSA, the American Psychiatric Association (APA) CEO & the new APA Foundation Executive Director, business partners including Kaiser Permanente, KPMG, Ernst & Young, and others.
