Superb Concert of Romanian Doctor’s Orchestra “Dr. Ermil Nichifor” at the Romanian Athenaeum in Bucharest

Romanian Doctor’s Orchestra “Dr. Ermil Nichifor” once again attracted our attention, this time by combining the pleasure of great music with supporting good causes such as “Life without hypertension”. The Romanian Athenaeum hosted Wednesday, February 18, 2015, the launch of the “Life without hypertension” Foundation. Within this framework it is worth to remember that hypertension is a major risk factor for CVD, CVEs and IHD, and that screening is vital. On the other hand we may also underline, for instance, the importance of encouraging exercise.

Invitees of honor at this launch event were (besides Doctor’s Orchestra “Dr. Ermil Nichifor”) the Romanian distinguished writers Gabriel Liiceanu and  Andrei Pleşu, who challenged the audience by words of wisdom while sharing inspiring stories, and confirming in a way the well-known quote with respect to the fact that the two blessings of life are health and intellect.

On the occasion of the launch of the “Life without hypertension” Foundation took place a new wonderful concert of this remarkable Doctor’s Orchestra “Dr. Ermil Nichifor” (Concert Conductor Iosif Ion Prunner, Concert Maestro Mircea Penescu). Participants really enjoyed a wonderful music programme that has been highly appreciated. We can conclude that the event was characterized by charismatic, insightful and inspiring performances.
